I have been volunteering in the public schools here (in Philly) for several years, and although I have worked with autistic children sporadically, I recently began spending time in a preschool classroom of 8ish kids who are on the severe (?) end of the spectrum - and to say I am extremely unprepared is a gross understatement! So I appreciate the tips and I am going to to try employing them! Thanks again :) Love this post!
